Principal

Mrs. Torey Leitzke

Welcome to Bradley Middle School! I am honored to be serving in my third year as Principal of this incredible campus. Since joining the Bradley family, I have truly come to believe that we have the best school and community in all of San Antonio.

My career in education began back in the late 1900s—I won’t admit to the exact year, but let's just say I’ve been at this for over 20 years! I moved to San Antonio in 2022 from Arizona, where I spent 14 years in a single district as a teacher, an Assistant Principal, and eventually a High School Principal for five years. Upon arriving in Texas, I served as an Assistant Principal at Churchill High School before being named Principal here at Bradley. These years in leadership have only deepened my passion for supporting students and teachers as they strive for excellence.

On a personal note, I am the proud mother of one son, and we have spent the last few years exploring everything our wonderful city has to offer. While I used to love playing sports, these days I prefer to stay on the sidelines as a spectator—it’s much easier on the joints! My favorite way to spend my time is hanging out with my son and cheering him on at his basketball games. I am so grateful to be a part of the Bradley community and look forward to another amazing year of growth and success.

Assistant Principal

Mrs. Heather Machingo

Hi, I’m Heather Machingo and this is my 24th year in education.  I grew up in Youngstown, OH and attended Ohio University for my undergraduate studies.  I moved to San Antonio in 1999 and taught ELAR at Washington Irving Middle School (SAISD) for eleven years.  During that time, I received my master’s degree in administration from Concordia University. A reading position opened up at Bradley Middle School, and I was fortunate enough to be hired into the bear family.  After teaching reading and English for 21 years, another opportunity presented itself at Bradley, and I became an assistant principal.  I love going to the movies (popcorn) and concerts.  I am a true Cleveland Browns and “Guardians” fan hoping like everyone else in Ohio to see them win a Super Bowl or World Series before I die.
