We would like all of our students to enjoy the 360-degree experience while attending Bradley Middle School. We do this by providing a welcoming atmosphere where students can explore and participate in meaningful, enriching extracurricular activities in addition to challenging coursework.

Students write selected spelling words from the UIL spelling list. This event is open to all grade levels. Participants need to get a spelling list from the coach and attend practices throughout the year. Spelling list for 6th graders differs from the 7th/8th grade list.

Students use dictionaries to answer multiple choice questions about word usage, word origins, and definitions. All three grades participate in this event. Students need to attend practices so they become familiar with the dictionary and the types of questions tested

Number Sense UIL
Students solve arithmetic problems using only mental arithmetic skills. Students have 10 minutes to complete as many problems as they are able. Students must use blue ink and may not erase, mark-over, scratch out, or show any work. Students must attend practice sessions to learn the necessary number sense "tricks". This event is open to all grade levels.

CyberPatriot is the Air Force Association's National Youth Cyber Education Program, created to inspire K-12 students toward careers in cybersecurity or other science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) disciplines critical to our nation's future. Through a series of online competition rounds, teams are given a set of virtual operating systems and are tasked with finding and fixing cybersecurity vulnerabilities while maintaining critical services
